Gravity Rack / Live Rack
Gravity Rack is a high-density storage system designed to optimize warehouse space and improve efficiency. It uses inclined roller tracks or flow rails to move goods automatically from the loading side to the picking side under the force of gravity. This ensures smooth product rotation and supports First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory management.
Pallets, cartons, or totes are loaded from the rear of the rack.
The lanes are built on a slight incline, allowing goods to roll forward toward the picking face.
When the front load is removed, the next automatically advances to the picking position.
Loading and picking are carried out on separate aisles, minimizing congestion and improving safety.
High Storage Density: Reduces aisle space and maximizes warehouse capacity.
FIFO Inventory Control: Ensures that older stock is always picked first, reducing waste.
Improved Efficiency: Faster picking operations and reduced forklift travel distance.
Lower Operating Costs: No powered equipment required; gravity provides continuous flow.
Safe and Organized Workflow: Separate loading and picking aisles prevent interference between operations.
Versatile Applications: Suitable for both palletized goods (pallet flow rack) and smaller items (carton flow rack).
Gravity Racks offer a cost-effective, efficient, and reliable solution for high-density storage and smooth inventory rotation. By harnessing gravity for automatic stock movement, they increase productivity, reduce labor costs, and optimize warehouse space, making them a preferred choice for modern logistics and storage operations.
FAQ:
1. How can you get a quote as quickly as possible?
For racks with specific dimensions, please tell us:
1) the rack dimensions you require. Height×Depth×Length?
2) the maximum load requirement for each layer.
3) how many layers for one independent rack consists of.
4) The specific quantity of racks you need.
For warehouses that need to provide rack drawings, please tell us:
1) Your pallet size, and which dimension of the pallet is for the forklift's entry direction?
2) The maximum height and maximum load requirements for one pallet plus cargo.
3) Provide your warehouse drawing.
2. What’s your payment terms?
TT or L/C at sight
3. What is your packaging method?
All goods packed with plastic wrap and fix with steel tape. Ensure all goods can be moved by forklift.
