Overview
Shitong High Density Push Back Pallet Racking converts aisle space into deep storage lanes so you can store 2–6 pallets deep per bay while retaining single-aisle access. This solution is designed to dramatically increase usable cubic capacity in existing buildings without costly expansion. The system is ideal when you need higher density without sacrificing selectivity for each bay.
How it works
Pallets are placed on wheeled carts that run on inclined rails. When a new pallet is loaded, it pushes the existing carts backward along the rail; when the front pallet is removed, the remaining pallets roll forward to the pick position. The design uses nested carts so multiple pallets occupy one lane with a compact vertical profile.
Typical technical highlights
Standard depth options: 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 pallets per lane (customizable).
Typical pallet capacity: 1,000–1,500 kg per pallet (configurable by rail and cart specification).
Rails and carriages designed to minimize vertical bay loss and maximize usable height.
Customer benefits
Up to 2–3× storage density vs. selective racking in the same footprint.
Faster put-away and reduced forklift travel—single-side access reduces aisle congestion.
Low maintenance (mechanical carts and rails; no powered conveyors).
Best for
Multi-SKU distribution centers, seasonal goods, beverage and CPG operations where density and throughput are both priorities.
